Two large, black adjacent crystals of maximum size 15.8 cm and 11.9 cm respectively. The faces are smooth and shiny and the crystals intact. The smaller of the two crystals is rather isometric; the larger one is more elongated. Three small, well formed crystals of andradite are on both sides of the matrix.

Double terminated hexagonal prism in a beautiful blue, mechanically freed from its marble matrix. The upper termination of the crystal, richly faceted, is very rare for the species. Under longwave ultraviolet light, the afghanite becomes brownish.

Group of very lustrous and well terminated parallel crystals of hubnerite surrounded by quartz crystals in various sizes (with a small Japan Law twin of 2 cm with termination in Y). In their upper portion, all the hubnerite crystals are translucent and give off a beautiful red color when they are backlit. Some gray tetrahedrite is also present at the base of the sample.

Floating set of two beige crystals, including one large very well formed and sharp-edged, with traces of pink tourmaline. Considering the healthy state of the crystal surface and the types of faces which constitute them, it is likely that the crystals formed freely in a geode big enough to enable them to develop without contact (as opposed to the narrow fissures in which behierites are generally found in Madagascar).

The top of the largest elbaite is partially covered with orthoclase. The elbaite/morganite association is not common.
