Hello everyone. I'm starting out in this wonderful world and I still don't have all the knowledge. I would like some help. I recently found this material in the state of Paraná, Brazil. It scratches quartz... what could it be?

What is the color of the powder when you rub it on a piece of broken porcelain?

Please take a photo of it on white plain paper, that way the camera focuses on the specimen, not the background

A reddish-brown streak suggests hematite, but the hardness test, if accurate, makes no sense. The hardness of hematite is 5 - 6, so it wouldn't scratch quartz. Try the hardness test again using the quartz to scratch the unknown mineral.
