Beautiful pieces as always.

My screen (which is supposed to be colour correct) struggles to show that beryl as anything into the hues of blue.... would it not be a goshenite, being colourless?

I'd like to reiterate, this piece is very unlike any material I've seen from Iceland.
Most of my collecting has been in the Hvalfjörður area, around Eyrarfjall in fact.

A chain of emeralds in calcite and shale.
Some are even double terminated.

Bought in Bogota, so the location isn't 100%

Small but perfect little Emerald sitting on "wings" of Calcite... I called it the butterfly... but maybe it's so small, that just fly would be more appropriate :-)
