My favorite topaz locality and my favorite specimen of several I have from there
It is doubly terminated but it is difficult to discern in this photo

Here is an example of the bi (or tri) color specimens found on the Adams Farm property in recent years.

Here is a rare matrix specimen.

The following posts show the color variations of gem spodumene v. hiddenite found in Stony Point-Hiddenite area of Alexander Co., NC. This dark one was found in the area of Hidden's initial strike.
