| Oh fair enough, maybe it's just that. I was wondering what's causing the texture with these coarse elongated holes. Is it due to erosion or the way the pebble formed?

| The texture is quite grainy, seems to be made of amalgamated sand grains. Found near red sandstone/mudstone cliffs. Could this be an ancient sand rose? | |
