The first image is from Bob Weaver and these are his words:
"This Baryte was self collected by Frank Knechtel back in the late 1960's, The rest of what he had is now buried under a freeway in San Diego."

Now I learned something new--who would have thought there was such a town as New England, North Dakota! (I checked online, there indeed is.) : )
