Gem pseudohexagonal penetration twin of fluorite.
Sulphosalt wires and enhydros are visible through the lustrous smooth dodecahedron and cube faces of the twin. Octahedron and trapezoidal icositetrahedron faces are rough, being composed of numerous tiny stepped cube terminations. Twin boundaries cross the edges of the front octahedral face (see the spinel twins thread for a drawing) and juxtapose dodecahedron (smooth) and icositetrahedron (rough) faces.
