Concerning confidentiality of pictures you share:

Smartphones and recent digital cameras are equiped with a geolocalisation system (gps). When you take a picture EXIF data is incorporated in the pic, which includes the localisation (gps coordinates) of where the picture was taken.

You have to deactivate this feature (I mean so to keep secret the location of your collection, which is to say your house).
