Let me start by saying this is not just the one day, but the many guest arriving and the dinners, the tours given at the Perot Museum, the house tours, the whole experience from start to finish.
Jim and I had done some online auctions, with dealers we know. This was a hold out for us, we were never comfortable with the whole idea of huge auction houses and their concepts of minerals, prices and quality. That is until some serious mineral people got involved, led the charge and enticed many of us out of our comfort zone.
Heritage Auctions not only had lots of seasonded collectors and dealers, but new collectors showed up in quantity.

So what followed you home?

...616 came home with us, the native antimony. There was no sale on the cerussite. There were a few pieces that didn't sell, it happens.

Busy day volunteering at the Perot Museum yesterday, add in a two hour teleconference and a Fleetwood Mac concert, you can see why I didn't have much time for adding photos...
