A recently discovered image of Jordi Fabre shortly before he gave up mining to pursue his mineral specimen business.

Wrong Vic. Is me already digging in La Collada for Fluorites. You can see some Fluorite's cubes behind me (with modified corners... ;-) ;-) ;-)

Hi Jordi!
Then this is your Klondike, where you found your "Number One" stone, like Scrooge McDuck!!! I can gamble you still have this stone or these stones in your collection!
Greetings from Italy by Riccardo.

Smoking at a young age explains a lot of your current behavior. I was unaware that Barcelona had salt mines or any other mine for that matter.

Hi Jordi. Here is an excellent chance for you to share a bit more of yourself with us. May I ask you for a few more photos and a story of your journey in the mineral world.

Vic,

There is something missing on the photo. Where is the grapefruit glass so dear to Jordi :-)

Christophe, I'm pretty sure the image was taken just after the invention of dirt, so Jordi had to wait for the fruit to ripen.

Hello.
In fact, Jordi is not of this planet. He arrived aboard a meteorite from the planet Meteor. So can not talk about meteorites. Are the memories ....
But who was traveling with him?

Felix, it has to be Jolyon Ralph! It's all becoming clear.

I know Jordi spent some time there as proven by the photo. Vic I guess you are right. The other person on the photo looks like Jolyon...

That explains a lot. Like Superman Jordi came to earth from another planet.

That is good enough for me Jordi. You will find it amusing to know that when I first heard about Fabre minerals, I thought you were German :-)

Hi Jordi:

It is good to know about your past and very tender childhood. The photo says all it wants to say, and may be it marked the beginning of your current profession.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing it with us.
