Greetings everyone !
Well, I've been searching the sections for an introduction thread, but couldn't find any. So here I post.
I'm Aymeric, 34, from France and as all of you here, I do love minerals !
I've been browsing Fabre Mineral website since quite some time and until now I hadn't noticed this forum (must be the mineral selection that always caught all my attention eheh...)!
It is nice to find some fresh and new place (well, it looks to be so !) where to discuss a shared passion. I'm a bit tired of the huge forums and here looks like a good place to settle in.
I'm a small time collector, mostly of quartz crystals & specimen, plus a bit of garnets, tourmalines and sometime other species when a piece really attracts me. I also happen to be a recently established mineral dealer, specialized on Afghanistan & Pakistan material.
Being no gemmologist, nor mineralogist, neither geologist, I'm in an almost-constant need of more knowledge, for the pleasure of learning and because I just need it so as to provide good service and satisfaction to people who'll trust me.
I hope to be able to humbly bring something to this place as the other people did, and sure to learn a lot more about the mineralogical miracle !
Cheers !

Bienvenue Ameyric,
I'm glad to learn there's a new French guy on the forum. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as I do.

Greetings and welcome to the forum. I've only been a member a short while and found it to be very helpful. I also have an interest in quartz, particularly unusual specimens from Arkansas and other US locations. If you are interested there are a few specimens I could photograph and show you as trade possibilities. Arkansas especially has many unusual types not seen among usual dealer stock.

Thanks everyone for the welcoming words ! I really appreciate.
Steve, that's a nice offer, thank you. I'm always glad to add something new to my collection, especially if unusual. But my own personnal collection is very limited and I don't have anything to trade for now, except heaps of Waziri faden quartz I have in stock ! But I will have to go Pakistan this year and probably Indian Himalaya and sure will look after some nice quartz crystals & specimen. Then I might be able to propose you a better selection for some trading. Wait a second, I just remembered that I should receive some Zagi quartz next month, I'll keep you informed when I get them !
Cheers everyone !

Hi Aymeric, welcome to FMF.
You said: "Well, I've been searching the sections for an introduction thread, but couldn't find any" and you be right, so I added to the Off-Topic section the option for Introductions and I moved your post here.
