We all have our favourite minerals for many different reasons. My favourite mineral is Pyromorphite.
I think its an understated beauty. Ok its not a gemstone crystal but in my opinion some of the natural formations are just as spectacular as a faceted stone
I love the variation in colouration and lustre.
My particular favourite location is the material from the Caldbeck Fells Cumbria UK
I have many specimens of pyromorphite in my collection and decided to post a few that I found interesting.
