Hello forum friends! Some days ago on April 30th, hiking with a friend of mine about the area of Montseny, which I already know pretty well, we saw a sign of a possible quartz pocket in a pegmatite. And truly, we were very lucky.
I am showing to you through the photographs, how the quartz crystals were extracted and the pieces after being cleaned.

| It reminds we of when I found a pocket of quartz in a new track cutting in the Picos de Europa (norther Spain) on my honeymoon! I had no hammers or chisels with me (learned from that mistake I can tell you - they always go with us on walks now), and my new wife was not ecstatic, as you can imagine. Had to get the crystals out with a stick and wrap them in a plastic bag I found in the farmers field. But I still have the best of them!
