The monazites are beautiful! Does the pale colour and transparency indicate they are very low in thorium, like the ones from Llallagua, Bolivia? They might also exhibit colour change between incandescent bulbs and fluorescent tubes?

From composition of monazite i don't know. i take picture only ( when someone want some photographs then i receveid postage package)

Hi Ploum, this one of the best Alpine locality, my preferred is Hopffeldboden in Austria (I'm Italian)
