Gail, Lauren Megaw, good news for both. The prestigious German magazine Lapis, has published in his last issue, 34-4 April 2009, in the column about Tucson 2009, two photos published in this FMF topic: https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/viewtopic.php?t=460 , one of them from the exhibit of Gail and the other is the Corundum from Lauren Megaw.

I copy both photos below and I add a photo of a fine Copper from Rubtsovskoye Mine that also I supplied to Lapis. They published it in the same issue, in the page 40.

Jordi

Published in Lapis magazine, 34-4, April 2009, page 36. The text used for this photo in FMF was:

Let me finish with something not so great than others, but really cute, this unusual Corundum. Not only superb specimens can catch our eyes...
A plus is that the specimen is from Lauren Megaw, she got it in Ste. Marie-aux-Mines Show 2008, what is notable considering that she has only 14 years.

A funny thing isn't?. The Calcite looks equal than a cheese and the Copper as a crab.

Oh how fun! Thank you Jordi for providing the photos. Glad to see Lauren had a photo included also, she is such a delight.
