Just a quick note to explain that the Internet connection in the Tucson Hotels is becoming worse and worst, even in the nicest and more expensive Hotels.
That could be a good reason for the less number of posts published this year. Even Gail in the Westward Look has a lot of difficulties to do it...
I'm sure that at the return of the FMFers to their homes we will see a lot of inputs. They will be not "on live" but they will be great! ;-)

Continuing the idea that I proposed last year (My 10 favorites of the Main Show of Tucson 2015) here are my 10 favorite specimens of the show cases of the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show® (Main Show) 2016
They are not the best, not the worst, they are just the ones that for one reason or another were the most interesting for me ;-)
Sorry for the quality of the photos. Them were quick taken by Jordi Deusedes and as we have not too much time I published them "as they are". When we come back to Barcelona we will improve them and we will publish them again.

My wife and I just returned home to Maryland from Tucson Gem and Mineral Show exhausted and in awe. The TGMS is both magical and inspiring, My wife gave me this trip as a 60th birthday present. She is not a collector of minerals, but after 1 day she was assessing minerals for their aesthetic beauty. We met Jordi Fabre on the last Saturday of the show and he encouraged me to post my Tucson experience. It was a pleasure to meet him, and I will post some of my pictures today with more to follow.

| Congratulations on your first trip to Tucson, Steven! Thanks for sharing the pictures. (At least 2, maybe more, of your pictures were some of the same exhibits that I photographed too--no surprsise!) It was my... well, I think I'm counting correctly, if I can believe it, 43rd annual trip to the Tucson Show! Coming first from Albuquerque, then from Denver. Some things change much, some (to a degree) remain the same.
