Dark greenish-black epidote crystal. I have not been able to find much information about this location, but since the specimen was acquired from Luiz Menezes, I have faith that the locality information is accurate.

Great to see a celestine from a very old classic locality! This is the first celestine from Ohio that I have seen from the old Maumee Quarry.

Most of the Ohio celestines I commonly see for sale are from the Pugh Quarry, Lime City Quarry, Stoneco Portage Quarry or from the White Rock Quarry in Clay Center.
