I would like to know what can be interpreted by the bottom line of this label. I fully understand the upper lines and I believe the first word on the bottom line means "collection" but the rest of the bottom line is a puzzle. Any assistance would be appreciated.

My german is next to nil but isn't it the name of the collector + year (Ding Franz 1925)?

Gérard | My German ist besser ;-) But, you're both right, John and Gérard, the line says
SAMMLG (abbreviation for Sammlung = collection) DING FRANZ 1925.
Franz is a typical German first name and family name. But Ding (= thing) can only (if it is part of the name) be a family name. So the name of the collector could have been Franz Ding ...

Not a hand writing expert but is it possible that it is an early label from the Franz Lammer collection and the last number if it is 1925 is related to the time of collection, as he is said to have started collecting in the 50's.
The A's and F's in this label and some of the archived labels in the link below have a very similar look.

Just throwing it out there.

Many thanks to all. Think I will go with Franz Ding - 1925. Not sure, however if the Pulacaya mine was operating that early.

Just did what I should have done before, I Googled Pucalayo mine. It was started in 1833 so the year on the label is okay.

Dingaling! That rings a bell. Was there any damage to the specimen? :-) :-)
