Yes, the weather is cooling and the thoughts of minerals is in the forefront of our minds as we head off to the Mountain time zone of Colorado. Jim and I drove first, to Colorado Springs where we meet with friends for business meetings.
The drive was most pleasant, and Jim had to do all the driving as I fell over my dog and went down the stairs to find I had sprained a bunch of things in and around my right knee. Getting into, and out of, the car was not pretty!
We will be heading to Denver today, we are setting up two displays tomorrow.
I will start with some photos along the drive through Texas, New Mexico and finally into Colorado. I dedicate this to family in West Texas, Carl Spann. He shared his stories of some of the history of the area while we were driving. What fun.

Oh thank you Don! I wouldn't miss it for the world, love seeing all the people and minerals, the fun of rolling up your sleeves and putting in a display!

Thank you Doctor Jordi! I promised you I will take care of myself, so I will do just that. I love doing the show reports and I get to sit and relax, so off to a good start! ( Truthfully, thank you for your great friendship and care. )
