| Manuel - Your sphalerite with quartz from Bulgaria is truly exceptional. How fortunate you were to be able to acquire it. I will soon post a sphalerite I acquired in Galena, Kansas this summer. You may be aware of Galena, as it is a rather famous locale. It produced specimens which lack the beauty of this Bulgarian piece.

Well, the life is complicated... ;-) Just to be sure I ordered the analysis of one of these larger crystals, almost equal to your specimen and it is Magnetite. So, in this mine co-exist small, dark-brown crystals of Wurtzite and larger, black crystals of Magnetite. Sorry for the mix-up.
I will publish copy of the analysis as soon as I get the report.
