Whether you speak German or not - I can highly recommend the new MineralienWelt issue about pyromorphite and its classic localities from the famous Bad Ems district:

https://www.bodeverlag.de/shop/index.php?cat=WG8060&lang=ENG&product=209166

I received the issue some days ago as a gift from my friend and fellow collector Michael Ochel who owns one of the best Bad Ems pyromorphites collections, an interview with him and 40 specimens from his collection are part of this issue. On 160 pages, there is a lot of detailed information about pyromorphite, its origin and its forms and colours, its (mining) history and its meaning for science and for collectors and its localities around the world. The focus is mostly on the legendary localites from Bad Ems area (Friedrichssegen Mine, Rosenberg Mine etc.), the most famous of the many German pyromorphite localities in Eifel, Black Forest, Erzgebirge, Siegerland or Taunus are also mentioned.

Like I said: Even if you don't speak German, you will enjoy this issue, most of it are great photos of world-class pyromorphite classics :-)

Rainer & Co. always do a very good job, and at least the photos are always in English!
