I have been meaning to write a reply for a long time, as I have been enjoying your excellent collection very much indeed. The standard of quality of your photography has been very inspirational and has directly made me review and refine my own techniques multiple times over the years, every time I saw another one of those stunning quartz or rhodochrosite photos of yours. Thanks a lot for sharing it with all of us!

Thanks Niels! Glad you like the collection and enjoy the photographs.

That Quartz could get this discussion going again?

I think it is neat that as it has bent it has sent out reverse terminations that reflect the degree of bending

Most think that it is some chlorite/clay like inclusion.

Hi Am, is there any chance of a close up? I am quite keen to see what the inclusions look like close-up.

Hi Am.

My first guess was sand, but it seems an arborescent growing.

Regards.
