After lunch we simply spent time chatting with every single person in the mineral world....or at least it seemed like it! ha ha. The evening offered an event for the University of Arizona's new venue, so they had a nice gathering in the Westward Look's Sonoran ballroom.

Turns out it was a silent AND live auction. We sat in the back but someone came and found us and took us up to the head table. I turned to Jim and said "Uh oh".

Bob Jones looks great. Gosh, he's a WW II Veteran. Wonder what his longevity secret is? Probably clean living and good genes. Bodes well for Evan. Doesn't hurt to keep his mind sharp by writing books and articles on minerals. Wonder when The Frugal Collector Volume 2 is going to be available? I think he is tired of my asking him that question every time I see him.
