It looks like quartz, yes. But maybe not stained, it could also be smoky quartz. Btw: Very nice specimen, I like the isolated crystals. Most specimens from that locality are completely covered with magnetite xx so they have not much contrast because you can't see the bright matrix. Your specimen is a very good example for isolated xx from the locality, I really like it.
P.S. Nice German pyromorphite!

Thank you Tobi for your comment. You are right about the magnetite: the dealer had several of them with a lot of crystals crawling on top of each other and the one we bought was for a give-away-price. Peculiar!
About the Quartz you also could be right.

Nice Romanian classic, Rob. Maybe you could try to make some close-up photos of the crystals because these realgar-included barytes from Baia Sprie often show a beautiful zoning ... :-)
