Quartz from Bolívar, Santander Department, Colombia. (Nº-63).

Largest specimen i have from Bolívar. This size and its flawless edges makes this a special find.
It seems to be formed by two crystals growing in a single hexagonal prism. I believe they are two lovers.
Finally two different points one of them with spotted edges similar to the pag 11 Bolívar´s example that i photographed with green background.

Quartz from Bolívar

All faces have small sons in the lower zone. The label shows the price and the weight: 690 gr.

I have become a fan of the Colombian Quartz. How we say in a country (my second homeland) not far away from Colombia ¡Pura Vida!
As always, very nice specimens.
