Someone claimed that all malachite is twinned.

Does anyone know of any discussion or papers to this effect?

Best,

Ray

Never heard. I heard that all malachite is pseudomorph, although this claim isn't correct.
Best regards.

Any good mineralogical reference lists twinning as common on {100} and {201}. See Dana's Mineralogy or the Mineral Handbook. This forum makes it difficult to post links, but you can search for the latter and find it online.
