PostPosted: Apr 10, 2020 14:02    Post subject: Stay at home - Coronavirus / Covid-19 - What will the world be like?

Twenty-eighth day, Friday April 10, 2020 in Barcelona

What will the world be like after Mr. CV-19 leaves?
- 1st question: will it be as fast and noisy as it was or will we have learned something from the slow time in which we have lived for so many days?

PostPosted: Apr 11, 2020 04:15    Post subject: Re: Stay at home - Coronavirus / Covid-19

In my point of view, I don't think the world will choose to change. I think the majority of the people would just like to go back to their previous lives.
But we will see changes if :
the coronavirus pandemic will be out of control with a lot of deaths (a lot I mean really a lot),
the economic situation will be so bad that people will start to starve, a country or a terrorist group decides to take advantage of the situation in order to take control of the world or to create an uncontrollable chaos (so easy with a cyberattack).

Hope everybody is safe and stay home.

PostPosted: Apr 11, 2020 14:10    Post subject: Stay at home - Coronavirus / Covid-19 - Compassion?

Twenty-ninth day, Saturday, April 11, 2020 in Barcelona

What will the world be like after Mr. CV-19 leaves?

- 2nd question: Many found compassion in these lonely days. Will we still be compassionate when this is over?

PostPosted: Apr 12, 2020 14:39    Post subject: Stay at home - Coronavirus / Covid-19 - How are we going to pay it?

Thirty day, Sunday April 12, 2020 in Barcelona

Our cat "Neta" died today. The pain is very great and at the same time a little shameful because it is incomparable with regard to the number of deaths of human beings that are taking place and the way in which they die.

What will the world be like after Mr. CV-19 leaves?

- 3rd question: How the medical teams will feel after this?

If so much pain is already generated by the simple death of an animal, how can these poor people resist? Those who help accompany those who die alone and those nurses who, with a poor salary, lock themselves up with the elderly in their residences and accompany them while they die by dozens, how can we pay them enough for it?
At the moment, when I go to a Clinic or a Hospital, no matter what happens and while I can, I will smile at them at all times and, if I can and they let me, I will hug them too.

Jordi,

Sorry to hear about Neta. No, it is not comparable, but our pets are part of the family.

PostPosted: Apr 13, 2020 14:16    Post subject: Stay at home - Coronavirus / Covid-19 - This could be even longer

Thirty-first day, Monday April 13, 2020 in Barcelona

I'm afraid that Mr. CV-19 is not well understood how it spreads yet.
FedEx carriers (for example) come and go and enter to the locals without gloves or mask, today I have seen another carrier stopped on the street and roll down its car's window to ask for directions to someone who was walking the dog, and both without mask they were talking at 20 - 30 cm. Shortly afterwards another person was walking his loved one (dog) without a leash, the dog has opted for emancipation and has run like a madman. Behind went his mistress until she has collided with another dog walker.

If people do not internalize that they should not approach or touch nobody (non-directly related) without protection, this could be even longer and with much more deceases.

Fortunately Minerals never die! (with some sulfated or deliquescent exception 😉)

Jordi, very sorry to hear of your loss of Neta. All of the loss and fear in the world right now only serves to underscore your sorrow, not lessen it.

I would share a picture of my "Rock Cat", Kiki (yes, Kiki), who we lost three years ago. He loved rocks, as you will see. Although, he thought they were a good place to relax, not for collecting.
