A Collector's Guide to the Minerals of Lake Boga is now published.
This Collector’s Guide is now available as either an electronic issue or as a printed book.
The Lake Boga quarry in northwest Victoria has been known to produce a range of interesting minerals. More than 70 species have been identified, including copper and uranium phosphates amongst others. Three minerals have not been found anywhere else (ulrichite, lakebogaite and bleasdaleite).
This book is one of a series of Collector’s Guides, designed to help mineral collectors identify minerals that they may have in their collections from the localities. This book includes 128 pages describing most of the minerals that occur, and 177 colour photographs.
