Hi Volkmar, I'm always happy to see some German pieces! But some additions/corrections concerning the locality information:

Calcite on dolomite: There's a wrong German federal state in the locality, Hahnstätten Quarry is in Rhineland-Palatinate, not in Hesse (though the Hessian border is close to it ;-)). And there are several mines and quarries that belong to that locality, your specimen is for sure from Steinbruch Schäfer. You could change the locality to Schäfer quarry, Hahnstätten, Rhein-Lahn-Kreis, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

Phillipsite: This specimen most likely comes from one of the quarries of Nidda, Wetteraukreis, Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany and maybe there's also chabazite on it.

Regards
Tobi

Hi Volkmar,

as the matrix seems to be limburgite, it is most likely a typo and your phillipsite is from the LimbErg quarries, Kaiserstuhl.

Best,
Stefan

Hello Tobi and Stefan,

thank you for your comments and corrections. This was the information I got from the seller (maybe this was wrong). I am happy to get better information! According to your comments, the locations should be changed. As the Phillipsite location seems still questionable, a question mark shoud be added. Could an admin please change the locations, I cannot do it.

Thanks
Volkmar

Stefan: "as the matrix seems to be limburgite, it is most likely a typo and your phillipsite is from the LimbErg quarries, Kaiserstuhl."

I just compared pictures from both occurrences on mindat, and it is hard to tell for me, from where the phillipsite comes from. A little bit more similarities I think to see with pictures from the "Rübenkeller, Nidda...", but I am absolutely not sure about this. What do you think?

After more detailed information I got from Stefan by PM, that showed me the differences between the discussed localities Nidda and Limberg, the phillipsite seems more credibly to originate from the Limberg Quarries, Sasbach am Kaiserstuhl, Emmendingen, Freiburg District, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

However, thank you both, Tobi and Stefan, for the constructive comments!
