Yes, I am still alive! I am happy to be back to write about the recent Tucson show.

I had the fun of two visits to the show. First one was with our daughter, Erin. I was guest speaking before Jim and I had planned to arrive so we flew out for a few days so Erin could see the Tucson EXPERIENCE!!! We had a grand time, I gave a talk on my favorite minerals on a Sunday and Erin and I flew home on Monday. I was in our car at 4 am driving 994 miles with Jim back to Tucson. What was I thinking? It was exhausting but we brought our minerals for display.
Anyhow, 2 trips!!!

Jim had business and what not the time our daughter and I were out in Tucson.

The weather was less than nice when we arrived. Raining and Cold. Oh joy.

[Gail]

For many years we would meet with Jordi, John and Merle White, Wendell and Carolyn Wilson, Tom Moore and his wife, then his daughter. Tom Gressman and Christi Cramer.

We escaped the city for northern area and La Placita.

Great food but better camaraderie.

Took Erin here, so I could tell her the stories over a delicious meal. PS...they miss you Jordi

You need to join us in Madrid in March (8-10 M). Jordi should be there, briefly

I am running a board meeting in Oregon that week. Rice museum

The restaurant hasn't changed.

tBreakfast with our son, Tom. He was at the show for ages, doing photography.
Erin, our daughter, joined us too.

A big part of the Tucson Experience is the food

Time to visit and pay our respects. Walked around a few venues.
