A wonderful quartz, Dany! You know I love alpine quartzes and I'm glad for you that you found such a nice and clear crystal, really beautiful!
... And I know about the struggle to take photos of such clear quartzes. Just remember: The harder it is to make a good photo, the better your specimen is. So take the "fail" of your photo shoot as a good sign that this quartz is quite good :-)

I have never been there but just 3 weeks ago there was a wonderful report on Mindat, I can highly recommend this:

And Dany, really nice baryte!

Salut Philippe,

several times. I attend the two shows of Chamonix nearly each year and the museum is a nice one with a really, really big rose Fluorite. I don't live far away (one hour drive) and the view is just incredible.

Thank you for you comment. Have a nice week.

What a beautiful specimen, Dany!
My first thought was Dalnegorsk because of the colour of the quartz. But such galenas are quite typical for the Madan area and if you have a reliable source I think I should not doubt the locality. However, very aesthetic combination, congratulations. You know I love such combinations of galena with quartz and other minerals :-)
Nice one!

Hello Tobi,

thanks for you comment. The dealer is specialized in Bulgarian minerals. He lives there for 30 years.

Have a nice week.
