Hi,
Nice specimen! However, Bernkastel has nothing to do with Freiberg nor with Saxony at all. This small town lies in the Hunsrück area, at the Mosel river (Rhineland-Palatinate). The shown crystal aggregate probably comes from the Kautenbach mine, a well-known locality for these so-called "Blaubleierz" specimens. In my collection there is a "Blaubleierz" from St. Helena and Barbara mine near Bernkastel that looks very similar to yours:

But there were more mines and often the samples are just labelled "Bernkastel", which was the name of a whole mining district.
Best regards
Andreas

Hi,
Here is a forgotten sphalerite.
It comes from Shiraïta near Etchigo, Japan, said the label.
It was part of the Henri Ungemach’s collection that is now largely in the Mineralogical Museum of the University of Liege (Belgium).
Henri Léon Ungemach was born in Strasbourg September 19, 1879 and died in the same city 11 June 1936.
Roger.
