I really like your Weardale fluorite specimens! As a fluorite collector, those classics from Weardale are always a pleasure to look at for me. I also have several in my collection: https://www.mindat.org/user-5297.html#2_0_0_0_0_0_weardale

Thanks Tobi, British fluorites are my main focus, followed by other British (and Republic of Ireland) minerals, though I do have a soft spot for wulfenite, vanadinite and dioptase

Loving the strong green fluorite you have. Mine are quite delicate colours, and I want some strong purples and greens and hopefully a nice blue at some point.

A good taste, all of them are wonderful minerals ... also galena, tourmaline, quartz, pyromorphite, beryl and many others ... ;)

Galena is another that I love in its cubic form. I need to get a nice sample of pyromorphite to round off the trilogy of pb5(xxxx)3cl. I love minerals with strong crystal structures and only really collect the massive specimens if there is something interesting like labradorite or many fluorescent minerals.

Hey Captain, for a low budget collector you are doing quite well! Thank you for showing us your collection.

Jason,

I really enjoy looking through your Weardale, England fluorites. A lot of these individual mines, I haven’t heard of so it is a treat to get to see some of the more obscure locales. I particularly like the specimen from Burtree Slits (Fluorite1.JPG, Page 1)

Hi, I haven't even touched the surface with the number of mines in the north of England, some I may never find samples from. These are just Weardale itself without going further out.

Try looking here. there are loads more areas with links at bottom.
