Wow! Great pictures. The emmonsite "tree" is awesome. However, a little picky annotation. The hematolithe shown on the first page is, in my opinion, not from Germany. If I´m right, the Moss mine is Sweden

Wow! A great artist.
I love pothography and right now my face is malaquite-green with envy.
Do you absolutely need a motorized focusing system in order to use the z-stack technique? Can it be used with a regular manual focusing stereo microscope?

| Actually i'm neither a fan of micromounts nor interested in micro photographs - but these pictures are simply incredible! It is amazing to see how precisely Mr. Rewitzer catches the beauty of that small and colourful world, thanks for sharing these impressions :-)
