Unfortunately I have no experience with that browser. I began using IE but now I'm very happy with Firefox 4.0. Is someone out there navigating FMF with Chrome?

I tried to upload photo's about six months ago, using my ten-year old laptop (Sony Vaio) and internet explorer browser. I couldn't load multiple photo's; and a lot of the time I couldn't load even one! I then used another computer (a newer one) with firefox browser and it worked like a dream - ten photo's at a time maximum.
Right now I'm using my laptop again with IE. It's ok for text, and it can load one single photo, but it then always gets thrown out.

Hi Anton

I am enjoying your photo's. The unknown specimen looks very much like Wulfenite from Tsumeb. Your quartz from Brandberg are more likely from the Goboboseb mountains.

I use chrome browser, I will add some photos & see what happens to me.

Hi Debbie

I also think that it can be wulfenite but i have not seen wulfenite in that back / dark broun . The quartz from Namibie is the Brandberg area and the spacemins came out a old collection it can be from Goboboseb.

Its probably Biotite, which belongs to the Mica family.

Hi Anton!

Don't you know what is the locality of your apophyllite? According to Mindat database, South Africa has at least three deposits of that species:
