I believe there is an annual agate show in Germany, perhaps in Idar Oberstein or nearby that usually takes place in March. Can someone direct me to an internet site or other source where I can obtain more information? Particularly would like to know the date and location for 2011.

Thanks for the link. Not sure if we will attend next year but wanted the date for vacation planning.

Two years ago "The Wonderful World of Agates" show took place in Wisconsin,
a first time event. Klaus Shafer was there and gave a very interesting talk on German agates. He was amazed at the number of Lake Superior agates available for sale. Unfortunately there was sparse representation from Europe and very few German agates available for sale or display other than the fabulous images Klaus presented and available on the CD's he had for sale.
