Hi all, here are some impressions from the "Alpine Schätze" (Alpine Treasures) exhibition that takes currently place in the Marburg Mineralogical Museum.

Thanks a lot, Tobias. Thanks for sharing the interesting activities of the Museum of Marburg. A friend of mine is always insisting on travelling to the heart of the mineralogical Europe: The Alps. I will mail him this thread, so that he can enjoy it.

Last but not least a specimen which is "alpine" not by the geographical but by geological meaning (but nobody will complain about this being a part of the exhibition, i think): A glowing 10 cm emerald sculpture from Pakistan. (Sorry for the fuzzy picture.)

Jesse, sure there was some. But you know the market value of it ... too much for the museum's budget ;-)
