This year Jim and I suddenly decided to fly up to Massachusetts for a few days to attend the East Coast Gem and Mineral Show in Springfield. We arrived for opening day and enjoyed being amongst the first in the door. The weather is overcast with grey clouds and the threat of rain, and it's muggy. I felt as though I was back in Houston again.

After coming in we went to see Fred Wilda's wonderful display and paintings. He is the guest exhibitor this year. His work is amazing, and he is my favorite mineral artist.

Lady - have I told you how much you ROCK! this is so cool - I can leisurely stroll through the cases - view all of Fred Wilda's amazing art...and I don't have to melt in the heat!!!
