Hi Folks,
I have this Palygorskite on Calcite from Metaline Falls in Washington, USA and its got loads of dust and bits on it, I wanted to know if im ok to just dump it in water with maybe some detergent in there too?

Here are a few photos, its a stunning piece, there are tiny (to 3mm) Calcites hanging on Palygorskite threads on this piece hence my fear of simply washing it.
