Arturo, an experienced member of the Spanish Forum, has asked me to post the following announcement:

As I decided to spend Carnival time at Amatista do Soul "garimpos", Rio Grande do Soul (Brazil), I wish to share with you that Expopedras 2012 will take place at that locality from 15 to 18 March. I do guarantee the place is 120% safe and the people are nice.

Amatista do Soul is the world amethyst capital because of its unique geode extraction. Only for the interior decoration of Saint Gabriel Church 4000 kg of quality crystals were used.
