Hello to all,

I've had a life-long interest in minerals, rocks, and geology and have lived in Idaho and Montana where there are many interesting sites and minerals. I have been lurking on this forum for a while and have decided to register and interact with the group.

My interest has mostly been minerals of the local region and it's rich mining history. Silver, lead,zinc, copper minerals primarily. But I will never pass up a good looking pegmatite either, and have hunted almandine, kyanite, staurolite as well (to name a few).

I'll share some photos when I get a chance.
