Hello,
Here is a cut quartz with a single inclusion: a crystal of black tourmaline (Brazil) at the center. With a slight deviation from the vertical you can see the needle.
Everything else, this is the magic of the cutting ...

Very nice indeed Roger. I assume the thick black lines are reflections of the black tourmaline crystal in the centre at the base. How far up does the black tourmaline crystal go (how tall is it compared to the cut quartz)?
Did you cut it yourself?
