OK, Tracy, you got me - here's a couple photos to start off with. I may not be able to continue posting until after Tucson, though.
I love geodes and they have led me to nodules, also. From nodules & geodes, it was only a short step to agates. I resisted it because agates are a deep pit from which people do not always emerge. My lifeline is that I only collect agates that are partial nodules, i.e., no slices.
So let's begin with 2 recent additions: a malachite/azurite double geode from Inyo Co., California (if anyone knows a more specific locality for the Inyo Co. piece, PLEASE tell me!) and an agate from Rancho Coyamito, Mexico (not far at all from the more famous Laguna locality).
You wouldn't guess from these that I started as a lover of rare & ugly minerals, would you?

Great Photos, Linda. I love the agate. I am more and more fascinated with Mexican minerals and hope to add some more to my collection. I hope to find one that I just can't leave in Tucson.
