Gold Kilo-Moto area measuring 83,000 km2 or nearly 3 times the size of Belgium. It is located in northeastern D.R. Congo.
Here is a small but nice and rare sample of Kilo-Moto.

A beautiful specimen, Roger! It appeals to me more than a usual nugget because it seems to be gold on matrix, right?

Thanks Tobi. I’m sharing your opinion, This specimen is gold on matrix (quartz I think) but in the series of nuggets I wanted to show their rarity.
How to explain the geochemical development of the nuggets? A biological origin?
