Pyrope panning

Hi friends,
Today I would like to share with you another expedition, again for pyrope, or Czech garnet. this time I'm going to the stream, try prospecting. Here is a short video from the expedition to the pyrope and a few grains were managed to be carved ....

Your Pyrope finds are interesting for me.
Two years ago i was invited to visit the mine in Podsedice and found my own Bohemian Pyropes. I have many photos from this trip and finds.

In northern Austria we also have similar locations with Pyrope. At least two of them were mined in the 18th century but for a very short time only.

If you are interested I can show you some photos from Austria and/or Podsedice (and Turnov Museum) Pyropes and/or locality photos.
