I was playing around with my Convoy S2+ on some of my Colombian specimens and this Calcite (and I think two others) had, apart from the warm orange glow, some inclusions that glow neon-yellow

....I know it's from Muzo / Coscuez area as I got it from a guy in Chiquinquira that gets stuff from miners close by (basically those that arent' heading all the way to Bogota or can't afford to go that far)

...any ideas appreciated :-)

Hi Bergur
I am not aware of any scientific work done on calcite inclusions in this region of the world.
I might be wrong but I guess what applies for emeralds also applies for calcites when it comes to solid inclusions.
List is rather long and includes albite, quartz, parisite, apatite, rutile, sphalerite, fluorite, muscovite, pyrite, carbonate minerals (magnesite, dolomite, aragonite), along with tiny particles of carbonaceous material.
Outside the carbonaceous material which can be identified with the naked eye in most cases, the nature of the inclusions could only be determined in a lab through microscope examination, raman/infrared spectroscopy, and for sure with some other sophisticated techniques am not aware of.

Thank you so much for that.

I just thought I would post the pic to see if this was in fact something already known about.

...seemed interesting to me... but then again I'm new to the UV playground and most things that glow under my Convoy I find interesting... including scorpions :-P
