In the world of mineral collecting, it is important to have the locality information about specimens. Some are rather easy to identify, such as one Adamite from the Ojuela Mine. But others, are more difficult, and the locality may affect the value.

For example, one specimen of a Fluorite, known it is from Elmwood, it will be worth more than if it is just labeled Fluorite without the locality. This is also true of the lapidary materials, such as blue/green drawer, as Arizona Azurite/Malachite may be worth more than that from China, because its cutting and polishing characteristics are better.

I'm not sure how much Jordi will allow in terms of giving advice or info on how to go about marketing a collection, but it may be a good new topic, as we all have to consider how to dispose of our collections at some point.

I don't care about this new topic, I care about people trying to use FMF for his commercial purposes. You can't figure how many people is always trying to do it because I, or our anti spam system block them, but the number of attempts is scandalous! ;-(
