As would be hoped, there was some German fluorite to be found at the show. Here is one that has recently immigrated to California.

Hi, the walk guides my steps to chance. Unsuspecting specimens are found, but others are surprising in their harmony and rarity.
This is the case of babingtonite, which belongs to the rhodonite group.
Babingtonite is a pyroxene. It is here associated with prehnite.
