The FT has a regular supplement on how to spend money. They have just featured our world of minerals and the high-end collector market.

Have a read and see what you think. I guess some of the companies mentioned paid for this advertorial.

Luckily, there is a place in the hobby for people who love minerals and don't care about the hype. The investor-collector community clearly has a place, but that really isn't where most of the collectors I know are coming from.
