This mineral exhibit was a pleasant surprise in Salzburg. It has some special exhibits as well as specimens.

The reconstructed alpine cleft with the quartzes inside is really interesting. I have seen this before when I visited the Terra Mineralia in Freiberg in 2015, they have a reconstructed cavity of a Chinese fluorite on display. A wonderful and educational addition to the displayed specimens, this should be part of every museum exhibition about minerals!
